Nestled in a quiet location, this hotel offers a perfect getaway for families with kids. My daughter, age six, was particularly fond of the fascinating outdoor adventures available, including some great hiking trails nearby. We spent hours exploring, which was a highlight of our trip. The restaurant served excellent food, and I can't recommend the carrot and ginger cream soup enough-it was a family favorite! Though the hotel is older, it feels welcoming and clean. The owner was kind and accommodating, making us feel right at home. We appreciated the substantial breakfast, which set us up for our daily activities. Rotes Ross is an excellent spot for families looking for an affordable retreat with plenty of outdoor activities.
